Y4RED’s mission is to expand opportunities for children and youths in underserved communities by improving education and equipping youths with skills, mentorship, and pathways to employment or entrepreneurship.

Early Childhood Development
To create or improve existing rural nursery schools to ensure that children aged 0-5 receive a good start in life through age-appropriate activities and lessons.
Foundational Literacy
Supporting improved foundational literacy programs in community primary schools and train teachers for program sustainability.
Skill Development
Supporting youths to thrive economically through skills training and effective networking by unlocking their hidden potential, they have the ability to thrive economically.

I love working for Y4RED because I get to create an impact on the literacy level of children in the rural area and inspire learners.

Volunteering at Y4Red opened my eyes to the educational challenges of children from low-income families and in rural communities. I realized that the saying that children are the leaders of tomorrow hardly holds true for children in the above circumstances. Hence, Y4Red remains an opportunity to contribute to rewriting the story of these children by providing access to quality education.
