Youths for rural education and job creation initiative is a registered non-profit youth-led organization in Nigeria tackling the problem of poor access to quality, inclusive, and practical basic education and decent work and job opportunities.
We achieve our goals through two major programs.
– Education Program: Under this program, we execute literacy development projects, where we adopt community primary schools and leverage our trained volunteers to facilitate best teaching practices in them. Collaborating and engaging community members in these communities we equip the schools with the best learning aids and structure.
Through our Adoption of a distance pathway (ADP), sponsors adopt out-of-school children by paying their tuition or other school needs in at least one academic year.
– Youths Development Program: Our volunteers form a network of young people who we equip with the necessary training to be able to thrive economically and to also create innovative and sustainable solutions to global sustainability challenges in their communities’ context.
